File > Open window is too small 1

In CR v7, the "Open File" window opens very small and in list view. How can I set it so that whenever a user clicks to open , the window is about 1/3 of the screen in size, with detail view? This has been requested by several of my users and it's starting to bother me as well. Thanks.

I think that you're limited there as I recall.

CR 7 is about 5 years old and no longer supported.

The only help I can suggest is to change the resolution of the screen to increase the size a bit.

Thanks, I realize the version is old... we use it with a Macola database and the highest they support is CR version 8. We'll be "upgrading" to CR 8 soon.. The resolution doesn't matter, the window still opens small and you have to click-drag the bottom right corner to make it bigger then click details view, every single time you want to look for a file to open (all day long - for some people), it's so annoying!!

I remember it well, even the dialog in CR 10 requires fiddling with each time...

CR 8 does represent some nice changes.
