I have a file DSN that seems to lose it's connection with a linked table in SQL. I do not connect with NT authentication, but instead with the SQL authentication. I type the PWD in but doesn't get saved with the DSN (looked in Notepad. So added the line PWD='MYPWD'. Still gives me the same error. Can I have a procedure call for the reconnection of the FILE DSN every time the Db opens?

Are you referring to linked tables in Access?

If so, when you select the tables you want to link, make sure that you check the box to save the password.

If you don't, when you close the database, the password for the connection is lost.
