Hello All,
We are using Exchange 2000 on an MS 2000 Server box, Norton Anti-virus for Exchange and GFI Mailessentials with all of the latests service packs installed.
Problem: Files sent to mulitple recipients are showing up corrupted. I have re-installed the latest service pack for Exchange, but the problem persists.
The files do not show up corrupted internally, only those sent outside of our organization.
I ran across a Knowledge Base article from Microsoft (Article ID: 182307) regarding Exchange 5.0 and 5.5 and their use of Quoted-Printable encoding for text files and a hot-fix to add a registry key to force Base64 encoding.
However, I am running Exchange 2000 and can find no such articles involving this problem with Exchange 2000.
Can I force Exchange 2000 to send text attachements with Base64 encoding? (Assuming this is the problem)?
Any help you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
