We have a user here who, for some reason, does not have Imaging for Windows installed. She has NT4 SP6. She needs to view DCX & TIF files.
1) She tried opening a TIF file, and somehow managed to associate it with Adobe Reader. I need to remeve this association, and associate with an image viewr. However, I cannot find TIF on the file association list. If I try and add as a new type I am told that the extension is already used with file type "tif_auto_file". Can someone tell me how I can remove or overwrite the existing association?
2) I need to install an appropriate image viewer on her machine. Preferably freeware. I already tried BravaReader. This works with TIF files, but not with DCX files. Is there anywhere that I could download the Wang Imaging for Windows software? Are there any other downloadable viewers that I could use to view both file types?
Thanks,
Simon
