Hello,
We have just upgraded our PCs and now we have some brand new DELLs with winxp sp2. Before we had Win 2000 pro.
Now with the new computers we have problems when sharing printers and files. All machines in the same WG, all with static IPS and subnet masks ok.
The message that appears says that the user does not have access. all machines have exactly the same users: Administrator, recovery and Admin. Admin is a power user not administrator.
In most places (pcs are all throughout the country) it is just impossible to share files files, BUT there are some exceptions, certain computers can access file shares but most cant.
One special case is a computer that under the recovery or administrator users CAN print, but under admin can't... permissions seem all right, Admin has full permissions over the printer... in both machines...
any help gratly appreciated.
