Figuring hard drive space

I know there is some kind of equation you can use to figure hard drive space without it actually saying it on the hard drive. But what is it?? If anyone has an idea let me know. Thanks :) Longlivegoku

Sector size times sectors/track times tracks/cylinder times the number of cylinders.
