Hi I would like to ask regarding the procedure in replacing fiber card that has a existing SAN disk allocated to the server.

thanks

Mcdata switch 6064 and IBM ESS F20 disk storage

ok, on McData switch you will need to modify the zone in order to get the old WWPN (bad HBA) out and put the new WWPN. After that, in the ESS F20 you will need to give access to the LUNs who are assigned to the odl WWPN (bad HBA).

Ask to your SAN provider or IBM.

cheers.
