I'm considering purchasing one of the two POS software programs COMCASH or CATAPULT, any feedback good or bad is appreciated? I'm looking more at the back-end / Inventory Controls...
I don't know anything about CATAPULT but with COMCASH make sure to ask about the recurring cost and training. When I looked at COMCASH the cost per year was about $6-700.00 for updates. I cant remember if any tech support was included. According to your other post make sure their shopping cart will work with your website.
With Catapult, being a health store, you will be able to interface with scan genius. Backend is very strong with purchase ordering, and the 4.0 version just got released. It does auto reordering, DVR interfacing, and self contained gift cards being the three biggies in the new release. Have you visited the websites for the products?

Thanks for the info, I haven't even thought to ask about reocurring costs...I also looked at Counterpoint - I was unimpressed with the interface. It looked very dated and simplistic. Is their any benefits to using a Linux/Unix based system? I've also been looking at The General Store, any thoughts postivive or negative are appreciated.
Thanks again!
