Feature Codes

Excluding the SPRE code, is it possible to change the feature codes on the Option 11, 61 and 81? For example, can you change the code for call forward, call pickup, call park, last number redial, etc from the default settings. Also, is there a way to print out the feature codes on an Option system?

You can't delete #1, for example - but you can add other codes that do CFW

Here's a list of codes:

The codes at the bottom (that do not require SPRE) cannot be deleted

of course you can change them, you can change the spree as well, ours is 1111.. with 10K did's spree 1 burns 1000 numbers..not one in 100 users ever use the spree (here)

very common on the install team to match the feature codes with your old switch... if we take out a rolm and install nortel, very simple to match rolms feature codes to help the transition,

Change" or "Delete" - depends on your definition.

For example:

You cannot stop #1 from being the CFW code.

Nor can you stop [SPRE] + 71 + DN from being the Park code

You can simply add "new" codes that do the same things.

but when you add a park code (CPRK *8). you don't need to use the spree.. *8 in my case is unique to the number plan. 71 (default) is not unique, forcing spree plus 71.. as i stated my spree is 1111, telling a bunch of doctors that they have to use 111171 to park would not be a good way to start a day..
