Feature 4 on 0x32 w/ 6.1 SW no longer working after DIal tone cut

We've got a customer with 0x32 6.1 Software and after a Dial tone cut of a few months ago, customer is now calling saying they cannot use Feature 4 for external offsite calls. I've had a Technician onsite and confirmed they can Forward Extension to extension internally. I'd like to reference Curlycord's last post in the above noted Thread.

Any additional ideas? They went from XO to CBeyond, but not sure why that would matter since Feat 4 is internal to the system. We've power cycled the phone system and that did not make any difference.

have you made sure allow redirect is set to yes?

Are you using a PRI with Cbeyond? If so it is probably because they are seeing the Caller ID of the originating person and then reject the call. You need to check with them and see if they will allow any number to pass through.

Hawks, Thank you for your response, but no PRI at this location. When you dial the Feat 4 and attempt to input the phone number as soon as you dial 9 for the Outside line, it won't give it to you. You get teh Nortel error beep. It will take a 2 or 3 as if you were giong to enter an Extension number, but Pool groups 8 or 9 are blocked.

maybe build a new extension from scratch assign it to an unused port and see if that works. If it does trace your steps backwards from there to see what is different.

Is 9 a Pool Code? If so you need to get rid of that and build it as a Desti Code. You can onlt use External Call Forward with Rout & Desti Codes.

Requirements for External Call Forward:
1) Must be MICS 4.1 or greater
2) Must set Allow Redirect to Y
3) Must use Routing (des codes & routes)
