FDP26 2.6a Dos & Win2K Pro & HP laserJet1200

Hi everyone,

I have bought the new printer HP LaserJet 1200 serie and try to print my invoice written in Fox 2.6a Dos via port parallel LPT1.

The fist copy of invoice was printed correctly but the second one was not. The problem is it's printed the first 10 lines and jumped to the new page.

I did the same test on HP 4100 serie and didnot have any problem. I am sure about my Report form Invoice did not have any changes since then.


Anyone can advise me to use others drivers compatible with this printer HP laserjet 1200 serie.

I have tried with HP LASER 4 PLUS, HP LASERJET 1200 SERIE - PCL 5E but I still have the same problems.

I called HP for support and they have confirmed that HP laserjet 1200 plc5e, ltp1 supported all dos 's applications

I have tried to print in Landscape and it was printed very well too.

so why it didnot print correctly in portrait mode.

Did you define the size of the paper? Maybe it's trying to put page breaks in the middle of the second page.
