Hey,

we have a few legacy FC 6228 fibre channel adapters that appear to be manipulating (turning off) the writeback cache feature of their LUNs on bootup.

does anyone know the ODM entry for an fcsX device that would allow us to turn off this behaviour?

the disk controller they're talking to does not have the ability to ignore cache manipulation from the host

tia!

Have you tried through smit?

yes, i've looked through the smit screens and the output of

lsattr -El fc*

and haven't seen promising... unless of course i just overlooked it.
