Hi all,

Just want some advice on creating a fax program (using a fax modem) to send a word document. What is the easiest way of doing this using VB or VBA? I am also prepared to buy some 3rd party software if necessary.

Any suggestions would be helpful :D,
Grogan

Easiest way is to install a PDF converter. It installs as a printer driver so you just print the document to generate the pdf file.

I generally use the Zeon DocuCom PDF Driver because it provides control over numerous (about 180) pdf settings at run-time through registry and ini entries.
You may also be interested in PDXPro, an ActiveX DLL that exposes all the DocuCom settings as read/write properties. You can download a trial version from my web site: but please use the support link to e-mail me for a patch to upgrade to the latest version (haven't finished the help file/packaged it yet) which is needed for the DocuCom PDF Driver 6.x.
