I'm having hell with faxing over an ATA through my IP office and out a PRI.
If I connect directly to an analog port on my IPO it works fine so it's not the PRI.

I have tried almost every known configuration. G711U G711A silence suppression on and off. t.38 on off. etc.
It works for some faxes but not others.

Does anyone have the sweet combo that just works? It's a patton M-ATA. I had the same sorta problems with a granstream ata also.

QUESTION: Is the t.38 from the ATA to the IPO? Like over the data switch. Or is that something to the PRI?

You need to turn the fax right down to 9600 baud rate, fax over IP is only ever best effort it's never 100% from my experience. It's just too sensitive to the slightest delay and delay is a fact with VoIP, it can be very low but it's always there :)

I can't find anything like that on my Ricoh C2050.
I'm afraid it's in some service mode deep down. Anyone changed those settings on a Ricoh Copier before?

Some aren't designed for use with VoIP and may not have those settings at all :)
