If the particular brand of FAX server you have is supposed to work like a voice mail system, then there must be some sort of integration for it to "fit" onto various phone systems. Since all PBX's do not act the same way, there should be some sort of documentation as to how to integrate with different systems. That's probably where the key is. At the heart of this seems to be one thing: an analog port off the Legend / Magix does not pass DID information. In the case of a vice mail system, it passes touch tones to ID the proper mailbox, but there are some other codes it sends as well. It's these "codes" that you need to get your FAX server to recognize, IF that's the way it works.
