I have to integrate RightFax with a G3r and cannot find any documents on how to integrate it with the PBX.

Can anyone post a link that has this info? I've checked the standard places.

Thanks.

I have two right fax servers set up. The integration so to speak depends on what type of interface board you are using. T-1, 4 port Analog, dual pri etc.

I will be happy to help once you provide that info..

I assume when you say "integrate" you mean trunking connectivity. If you mean translating DID ranges or UDP entries I can assist there as well if you give me a bit more detail.

In that scenario, you can program one hunt group (pilot number would be the DID that you want to point the inbound fax calls too.

Then in the hunt group members assign 4 analog stations (extension numbers is not really important here unless you want to access the ports individually). In a four port analog you are about done here.

I am not sure if you are trying to set aside a block of numbers or translate them but I will give you an example of the type of things we do with ours.

Small one (coincidentally also a 4 port analog) is used almost exclusively for inbound calls and does not have any numbers tied to it other then the "pilot" number for the hunt group. If a calls come into this number it rings one of the four analog ports associated with the HG....second call comes in it shuffles to the next available port etc etc

Very simple very bland.

On the other Right fax server we have a block of 300 dids pointed to 2 pri's (line side) via uniform dial plan. If a call comes in that is included in that 300 number range it will send it via UDP down either PRI with the CLI include and it will subsequently route that call via our network to the users outlook box that has that particular DID assigned as their respective fax number.

In both cases the interface is standard. Analog 4 port will be 4 analog extensions with a pilot number assisgned.

T-1 and PRI will be Trunk Groups line side towards the right fax server passing inbound 4 digit and outbound calls over those trunks translated via udp.
