Fax Server to IPO via T1

Greetings,
My customer has a fax server that connects to teleco or PBX's via a T1 card. The customer wants to run all Outside Trunks through the IPO and then into the fax server.

The fax server will connect to a T1 card in the IPO. What needs to be enabled in the IPO to allow the fax server to make calls through the IPO?

Hello dcwave, I have the same problem now. I am looking to connect our PRI to the IPO on T1/PR card 1 and send it out T1/PRI card 2 through the IPO to a eicon Diva Fax Server T1/PRI card. I have been able to connect the cards but am running into sync problems. Were you able to resolve this problem. Please advise. Thank you.

Here is the little known solution. I used this to set up a dialer for a credit card company. In the field called Test Number, type in INVERT. This will allow the Fax server to act as the slave off of the IPO and will switch the IPO to Master mode. Once this is done, just pass digits like normal. Email me with any questions.

Please give me move detail on how you setup the 2nd PRI card on IPO connecting to the eicon Diva Server PRI/T1 Fax card. What switch types did you use. I'm having a problem making the cards talk to each other.

I realize that I can not make the IPO card act as a TELCO. I can't do that either for the fax server card. However, I can set the operation mode on the fax card to NT - Network Termination.

Please advise if possible. Thank in advance.
