I have a brooktrout fax card connected to an tmdi in a Nortel 11C. It is configured for as a tie line with em4. Is it possible to see the ani of the caller? I am not currently seeing an ani when faxes are being sent.
outbound you just need a clid table in the switch and for the provider to know your sending it.. inbound you need a class modem card for any analog station station..
in 96 enl msgo x on the d and you can see what your actually sending, enl msgi x does the same for inbound.
Their is no DCH associated with the T1. This is a T1 configured with EM4. It is directly connected to a fax server that is configured for robbed-bit. From the outside, I have a PRI w/DCH connected to my Meridian. A fax would hit the PRI from the outside traverse the Meridian and go out another route which is the T1 connected to the fax server. The faxes are showing up without any originating number. Hope this helps.
