In Excel 2002 (XP) when you click file --> open, the window that appears used to have a shortcut to your favorites on the left hand side. Microsoft appear to have removed this in 2003 which is a pain as we have customers who like using it.

We have tried to drag in to0 the toolbar, checked all options etc etc but can not find a way of adding it.

Any ideas would be GREATLY received.

Thanks

Here how to get around it...

Browse to favorites folder in the file/folder window from the 'Open file/folder' window. With the folder highlighted, click on 'tools' > 'Add to my places'

Ta-da!

Finally, you might need to change to small icons. (Right-click in the my places bar)

However...

I've had alot of users also complaining that they can't add files to their favourites. If anyone out there knows how to do this I would love to hear from them!

Casey.
