Could someone remind me the location where the favorites in IE6 are stored. I would like to save them and copy over to my new hard drive.

Thanks

There is a built-in import/export utility in IE6. Under File.
Might be a good idea to use the I/E wizard to store the stuff on a floppy, along with your important cookies, and while you are at it, put your email address book on it.
And for better protection from things in the "anxiety closet" you might want to print out the address book.

If you use Outlook Express, there is a program called "E-Backup" (Inachis). Backs up EVERYTHING to do with I.E. (favorites, addressbook, settings, etc.). Saves it to a file in "My Documents", that can be copied to other media.
