Faulty 2950! Blinking led's and beeping swich

Hi,

I'm having a problem with a cisco 2950 swich. Sometimes all the led's of the swich start blinking amber all together. The swich doesn't stop beeping during that time. This can be about 2 minutes till 20 minutes. Meanwhile the users can still work. The swiching process is not disrupted. This happens about ones every two weeks. Could somebody explain me what the problem is or how I have to start troubleshooting this?

Possibly a heat issue?

You should setup a syslog server, and log all warnings to that syslog server so you can see if you see anything.
