I've used MAX for quite some time now - we've grown to like each other. I know very little about the technical side of 3DS, so I was wondering if someone could clear something up for me.

When I render a scene, does the 3DS MAX renderer use my Graphics hardware to hel pit, or does it do all the work in the processor.

It it only uses software rendering in the production stage, why is this and can I make it use my GeForce 3 to render with?

Keep it simple please, people. I make pretty pictures, not particle accelerators :)
