Hey all; I have a customer with a 7.0 XC , MICS. I can connect to the system using the NRU 11, but when i try to backup the programming to my laptop, or the customers P.C., it tells me that "System ID -------, is in use, in a programming session, Try later" HuH?? I am the only one who programs this system. I can program the system using the NRU 11, just can't back it up?? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

If the answer is NO though then try dialing back in again using just the Backup and Restore.

I snuck a post in above...same time you replied.
There is 4 icons in NRU when you open it.
The first one is Remote Set Tool, click the 3rd Icon and try dialing in.

Thats what I did. Now when I open the NRU 11, I get an error that the " database cannot be found?" Wacky software? Has Nortel label on it, purchased from local supplier. Or is it that my new laptop is running Vista Home Premium? I am running out of ideas.

Vista not supported......maybe some have got it to work.
Try running it in XP mode.
Right click shorcut and select properties.
