Have a problem with calling one number out of a G3si 2.0, what is happening whenever we try to call this particular cell phone we get a fastbusy signal. I have had the carrier check to see if they see any problems but they see no problems. We can call other numbers within the same arecode and exchange with no problems just this particular number. So I don't think this is a ARS issue. Does anyone have any sugestion on what I can look for to solve this problem.

run a list trace station xxxx where xxxx is the station you are calling from and print out the results

The station that gets the fast busy may be on a low COR that will not allow it to call certain area codes. Do the list trace st like Jedi says and post your findings.

In the future everything will work...

below is what is coming back on the List Trace that I ran the other day.

dial xxxxxxxx route:prefix|fnpa|ars
route-pattern 4 preference 1 cid 0x23
seize truk-group 2 member 2 cid 0x23
setup digits xxxxxxxxxxx
Calling Number & Name NO-CPNumber NO-CPName
Proceed trunk-group 2 member 2 cid 0x23
idle station xxxx cod 0x23

What does a connected call look like when you do a list trace? Are they going over a different trunk? Route Pattern?

In the future everything will work...

Can you call to another number with that area code and prefix.

If yes, does it go over the same trunk.

You are not getting a denial code from the pbx, so the pbx looks like it wants to pass it.

Never heard of a Lec giving a fast busy though.

Sounds like you need to have you're vendor pull a trace of this. They can look at the d-channel and see the messages.
I bet you're sending out a setup message, then the pbx will exchange call proceeding messages with the vendors switch.
Right after you exchange call proc messages they will have what number we want to call and all that jazz, they are sending a disconnect message for some reason and thats why the pbx doesn't post a denial because its ISDN normal call clearing. You could try changing send connected name to a yes on the 2nd page of the trunk group form but I don't think thats going to help matters. Since its 1 number and all you're other calls work its a vendor issue.

CAn u call that number using your cell phone?

Yes, I can call other numbers with the same areacode and exchange with no problem and yes they go over the same trunk. Page two already has send connected number set to yes. I will call the vendor to have them look over a trace again to see if they can come up with something.
