Fast busy during conference.

When anyone in the company wants to conference a call, it connects but there is a fast busy in the background. everyone on the conference call can hear it. Any suggestions??

Check the conference card. Are all the conferee's inhouse? What type of switch and what release.

The problem is internal. It is a Meridian Option 81C release 25.

Do a enhanced trace on phone making conf to see what conf pack is being used - disable and test if still happening. may be a bad card - may just need reseated

hard to beleive it happens every conf, try ld 135 scpu and then set up a conf, see if it's side related. a tone on a conf was a switch setting on older conf cards, but it didn't sound like a busy. you could have tones turned on and a busy defined as the tone instead of the default single beep every 30 seconds
