Here's a weird problem..... suddenly one of our remote locations phones quit ringing. They are a the end of a T1 that hits a channel bank and drops out a few analog phones. The ring generator in the channel bank appears to be trying to ring the phones but yet the sets don't ring? We swapped out the ring gen card anyway and still no go. (Power supply has good voltages at test points). The phones are old 500 type sets and seem to be ok - volume turned up, etc. they all have the ability to call out and can pick up if they know it's ringing on the far end. Very perplexed at the moment....? Oh, and we had them swap out the entire channel bank after trying various cards and still no luck.....
Any ideas?

Did you check Near End to see if RG is coming out of switch

Lots of different channel banks out there, what do you have? And as PerryPJ said, check the ring voltage at the PBX to make sure it is tripping the FXO/FXS card at the local end.

Well - it took us this long to troubleshoot the issue! As it turned out - it was a bad ring generator in One of the 3 channel banks in the mix. It was only cranking out like 36V (which was enough to ring a butt set BTW). Never found it until we had everybody at all 3 points and testing with a volt meter! What a pita!! Haven't had my butt kicked by an analog ckt in very long time.....
