We just went live with a 9i REL2 database. After the database had been up and running for a day or so we started having connections fail with an error "Oracle failed to start dedicated server process" Our high water mark for users is about 240. We dont usually have near that many users connected. I cant find anything to explain the problem. A reboot of the server seems to "fix" the problem, but that's not a REAL solution. Anybody have any ideas what might be going on? There are no entries in alert log or trace files or anywhere that I can find.
