The company I work for is upgrading to windows xp pro. I have tested an application (that has been running on windows 2k) on windows xp pro. when i first installed the vb application it came up with an error registering msado26.tbl. so i downloaded the recommended fix mdac2.7 an but after installation is complete I get a "failed to start because mso97.dll was not found." so i downloaded mso97.dll into ms office\office and now the application runs fine. does any one know what this error exactly is and how i can prevent from having to install seperate mso97.dll files for all the companies computers???

Sounds like the office version on the XP is different then the one on the 2000?
If so, that's the culprit. If the solution is out there, let us know it was helpful, so others can benefit from it as well..
