Installed new network card in 98 machine. When new hardware detected by Windows did not have correct driver disk available.

Now, due to restrictions on network cannot access Control Panel or My Computer so therefore unable to install correct driver for network card as now PC does not detect new hardware.

How about safe mode and kill everything out of network? Once the card is gone , the network should be gone. Then let it re-install. Ed Fair
