Help me !
my computer refuses to install .msi packages that I just created on a win 2000 server.
The error, when i install by double-clicking on the .msi file is "Error registering com+ application".

my computer: PIV - windows 2000 - service pack 2 - visual
studio installed ..

If I try to manually install the client side dll (by getting it from another computer on which it runs ..) from windows component services control panel, I get an error in regsvr32 - DllRegisterServer -> dll is not registered correctly. :-(

The same .msi packages have been successfully installed on 2 other win 2000 machines -> i guess the application export was successful..

But still it refuses to install on 2 other machines ..

Anyone has an idea of what i can try to resolve this problem ?

Try re-registering comsvcs.dll, then install the MSI

so:

regsvr32 comsvcs.dll
