how do u fade a mask...ie i want to have a box scroll over an image and only display what is under the box...how do i fade that box out so it look slike the image is fading....

sorry never tried to fade a mask..maybe old can help ya..if not i'll try later and see what happens..

Don't think you can fade a mask layer, if that's what your talking about!
You could fade in the whole picture over the layer masking part of that same picture in perfect registration, which would probably achieve the same effect. Hey! You could even fade in the whole picture in several masked steps, gradualy showing more and more of it!
