F983 password expiry

NAM 4.1. Customer claims F983 prompts for password change. They are insistent they are not using F981 to log into SA mbox. Did not think this was possible. Does F983 prompt for password change??? TIA!

if mailbox 102 is initialized and with class of service that expires passwords, then yes.

I understand logging in using F981 and COS settings will prompt for password change, but F983?

It is the same way on a BCM50 and 400 4.0 for sure. If you don't want it to expire then you must change the default. As inconvenient as this may be it is a security issue.
