F10 Key opens Internet Explorer

Hi:

Not sure why this is happening? I have a Dell Inspirion Laptop that has an F10 Key. Whenever you press the F10 key - it launches Internet Explorer version 6. I want to disable this becuase I need the F10 ket for use in another program and a command key. None of my other computers (no matter which O/S they are running does this? Does anyone have any ideas?

It's probably a third-party software (Or Dell's pre-installed that came with the unit)that is creating the issue. Look through the installed programs on that laptop and you should find the program that is not installed on anyone elses. Also look for a Function LOCK key that is being turned on be default. My keyboard has a function lock key. When pressed each one of my function keys have a different function. My F10 becomes spell check.
