F Drive instead of C boot drive on windows 2000?

I recently formatted and reinstalled windows 2000 on a compaq server. All is fine except that the boot drive was assigned as F rather than C.
Any ideas of what caused it, and is there a way to change to C without reinstalling?

Your best bet is going to reinstall inorder to ensure you wont encounter any problems down the line..
