On one of my customers computers - when i go to msinfor32 and then go to conflicts/sharing or anything under hardware i receive a gpf - and it says that a gpf has occured in eyedog.ocx.

I went to msdn and it tells me to uninstall and reinstall wordpad - i tried that and that did not work -

I have also tried updating the bios for the motherboard (Abit TH-7 Raid) this did not work

Have you tried SFC..?

or

A longshot..
The MKB article recommends Wordpad Re-install to replace various dll files. Among those (3) are Riched20.dll
"Riched20.dll" is also used as a dropper when infected by Nimda virus. Search for multiple copies of this file. Perhaps try a Virus Scan... smitee

What is SFC???

Does the Nimda Virus affect windows 98? I am unsure - is there a way I can replace the file - can i try using a windows 2000 Riched20.dll?

Thanks for you help.
