extracting only integer values from a cell 1

hi there,

i was wondering if there was a way to just extract integer values from a cell where it had both integer and string values like this:

3.44 mil

any sort of help would be greatly appreciated!!

just to be sure - you don't think 3.44 is an integer do you ?

3.44 is not an integer. 344 would be.

so do you want the integer only or the value of any numerals ?

for the latter you can use Val - for the former, you would need to use CInt
