Extracting MSI Files

If I have a MSI file that I would like to extract to raw contents. How do I do this? I thought I can extract MSI files with Winzip but when I try Winzip says the MSI file is not a support format?

I forgot how I did this long ago? Can someone enlighten me?

Wininstall LE is free and will allow you to see the contents, i'm not sure if it will extract them tho.
