I am pleased witht the current search template we use. Often times, I need to export the data out of livelink to create a report. Results have been dismal so far. Please help.

Extracting Categorey Search results Data Out into excel

PVA makes a module for that.Otherwise you could code something along those lines.Getting it into excel should be the easiest part.What information from the search results are you after.knowing excel's limitation of 65536 row ?Wouldnt exporting it as a XML result set give you what you are looking for.I am sure that MS excel should be capable of parsing XML.
