extra processors reported

I have a W2K SP4 Terminal Services Server with Citrix XP SP3 installed.

The server has 2 processors installed, but reports 4 processors.
Normally I wouldn't care but the server has some issues.

So the question is:
If I goto Eviornment Variable and change the number manually from 4 to 2 will that be OK?

This is probably because of the new Intel chips have hyperthreading support. Their hyperthreading feature makes one processor look like two to the operating system, so it can process more requests at one time.
