External trusts relationship

Hello dear associates,
I have time consuming bug about external trust between two forests : there are such situation : first I can make external trust from stat.std.lu to sc.std.lu but I have not possibility to make external trust from sc.std.lu to stat.std.lu : error -domain can not be contacted
i can not even make time sinchronization with other domain with error -logon denied

Is there something in between those 2 forests from the network point of view? Meaning some king of FW's, NAT, routers with access-lists...

No , there are not any FW's, NAT, routers with access-lists... only Cisco 3550 which have ACL but there not any restriction inside only connect to it.
