Hello everyone
I have a need... I would like to add some extra storage to my network, and be able to mount this storage for users which logs into novell, but I don´t wanna spend a fortune buying a NAS or SAN which works from the box. What other options do I have ?
Lets say I have plenty of IDE disk, a comp to put them in, and an open mind, what should I do ? Install windows 2003 storage server to set up a NAS ? or are there other ways ?

iSCSI on NetWare. Don't use Windows for anything more than you have to, okay?

Man, you guys need to start asking some hard questions again. :)

is iSCSI only available for NW 6.5 ?

You have to put the Target (Where the storage space is) on a NetWare 6.5 server. You can have the intiator (the device using the Storage space) on a NetWare 6.0 server, and I think it will even work on a 5.1 server.

You can also use a Net Appliance with iScsi capabilities and attach with a NetWare server in the same way.
