External Pager Notification

There are a few threads on this, but none have worked for us. We are able to get cell notification working just fine. For some odd reason, three users INSIST on pager notifcation.

Running latest versions of sofware for IPO and VMPro. Have setup a default start point with GetMail for the users with this need. Setup Source Number P9xxxxxxxxxxD111# in the user. Tried with , instead of D, etc, etc. I also went the route of creating a system short code to page individuals,which works when you manually dial the shortcode, but am unable to get that integrated into the users info.

Sounds like you have the majority of it correct:

VMPRO: create a User start point (callback). Send it to a Getmail. In the Getmail, attach an entry prompt greeting of atleast 10-15 seconds ("this is the IP Office calling...")

Manager: under source number P9xxxxxxxxxx

I have a feeling it is the recording you are missing from the above example.

For pager notification, you need to create a shortcode in manager for each users pagers... Because in the SourceNumber tab, the D and , are all being ignored by the system...

ex:
SC: 8801
TN: 95554441212D1111
your line id...

then in the users source number put P8801 and your all set....
sometime the D1111 will not work properly and you will be forced to use pauses... 95554441212,,,,,D1111 ...
