We use Verizon for Local/Regional calling and ATT for Long Distance. If I call a local/regional external number on Verizon's network, the CID on the far side displays my company's name. If I call someone using Time Warner or Cablevision for their landline the CID on the far end says "Nicole Something Or Other". Any idea why this happens or how I can fix it? I know this isn't an Avaya specific question.

Thanks,

Name delivery service CNAM is provided by the Called Parties provider and their participation in the service. Are you're DID's with Verizon? What happens when you call any other VoIP provided endpoint, comcast, Vonage etc...

Sounds like it may be a CNAM database issue with that LEC. Verizon may have your naming correct in their database, but other LECs may only request an update from Verizon once a year. I would first call Verizon and asked them to push out a CNAM update and give it about 5-10 business days to see if it gets corrected. If that does not work, you will have to call the LEC with the incorrect information and see if you can request an update that way.
