I have a 3x8 system. How do I get the external caller ID to show on the screen before I answer the call, now it only shows once I pick up the phone. I tried a bunch of different settings in CONFIG menu nothing helped. thanx

External CallerID only shows after answer call

You must assign the caller ID set under Telco Features. Lines must appear & ring. Only one set per line can auto display caller ID.

It's possible your software only automatically shows the caller-id for the prime set of the line. Otherwise, you can program Feature 811 buttons for people.
