Ok I know this has been covered and belive me I searched. I know there is a fix because I had the same problem in another system about a year ago and someone e-mailed me some things to check. After going through the check list it worked perfectly. Problem is our e-mail server crashed about 2 months ago and my list was lost. The problem is External Call Forward, if you dial the extension it works perfect but if you dial in with the DID number the call forwards to the operator. The phone is set correctly and I've tried both CFF & CFO in the CDB. There is no restrictions on the trunks that I am using. I've also tried it the ACD way with the same results. Running Option 11C with RLS 24 software.

A sure fire, but semi-complicated way to do this is to set it up as a DSC in the CDP...LD 87
It requires making an new RLB and DGT in LD 86
The DGT should delete 4 and add the phone number you are trying to reach...works flawlessly

how is ncos 0 programmed and what FRL will it let you call. might be the LDN 1

hawk, that phone is ncos 0, does that let the phone make the call?.. if so make sure the targ of the inbound and outbound routes don't match, the targ of the phone is 0, that is the default targ of routes, i have lots of phones with using cfxa, and i almost never use Phantoms for anything.. when i started on this switch, they were maybe 300 phantoms in use, now maybe 2 for some rcfw work around's.. to make it worse the soft loop was in the way of a needed loop

Thanks john, mluckie1 $ the rest. My NCOS is 0 on everything like I said there is no restrictions on anything. I can call anywhere with this phone, & if I Forward the phone and call it internally it works perfect. If I call it with a DID number I go straight to the Operator.
