We have CRM setup on an SBS 2003 server. I have employees at a branch office connected via a net-to-net VPN and I have two users that work on the road often.

Is there a way (short of creating a mobile VPN) to make CRM accessible to these two users while outside of the LAN?

Have you explored RPC over HTTP as an option?

Either that -or- MSCRM has an offline / remote version that we installed on our sales folks lap tops and on the desk tops in our Europe branch. It only will sync the data back & forth to the main server when they go offline & online, but it is pretty dependable. Essentially they can see what data you decide gets pushed to their local machine and all is good after that...

this help?

We're looking at using the Outlook mobile client, but after thinking it over, the VPN looks like the proper way to allow access to the web client version. A lot of data can change quickly in our install as pricing is constantly updated and I'd like to keep them as up to date as possible.
