I have a client that has several extensions off the main line for each with a mailbox. I know that feature 985 (on Nortel T7316) shows me the box # for each phone that has an extension but there are two general purpose mailboxes without a physical phone, how do I find out what their DN # is?

My second issue is that they have a third line that is supposed to go directly to a specific mailbox, how do I figure out which of the lines is set to that specific number in order to set it to go straight to VM and not ring all the phones (I have them all set to appr&ring for now, until I can figure out how to tell which is assigned to what line)?

The full setup is: 3 phone lines, 2 general purpose 1 for a specific voice mailbox on a call pilot 100, nortel compact ics, T7316 phones.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. feature 983. navigate through here and find the mailbox number. a mailbox does not require a physical extension associated
2.you need to id the line. No easier way to put it unfortunately. Once you find the line number then you can assign it to a mailbox.
