We have been allocated two sets of IP ranges to use, one of 512 long and one of 256. The ranges do not follow from one to the other. The original idea was one for main usage and one for administration usage. However, we have selected to use folder security, GPOs and Group Rights rather than create two separate networks in one area. We have been using the 512 range but have now almost run out.

QUESTION: CAn we use the other range in the same DHCP and still allow all systems to act as one network?

If not, how easy is it to extend our range across the network?

To add to this, I want to tidy up DHCP. A couple of the servers have multiple entries and I cannot find out why. ALso some units have grabbed an IP only to be renamed and seem to have gained another IP. How can I easily tidy this up without affecting our wireless points, switches and printers that all use DHCP?
