Extending AS400 TWINAX terminal connections?

I have a client with an older AS400. They run some manufacturing software and their terminals are scattered about the factory. They have just expanded the far end of the place and wish to run a group of 6 to 10 terminals all about 1400 feet from the AS400.

Is there a way to run a cluster of these things across a fibre optic cable? I have one there for running remote phone modules, and ethernet, but is there any off the shelf AS400 (twinax) compatible hardware that would entend 10 terminal feeders?

Secondly, if there does not exist such a box, what is the transmission limit of twinax? How many terminals can I hang off one feed line?

Thanks!

Seems to me there is an RJ11 "hub", that can be used in connection with balums. That would give you a distribution point. You can always daisy chain the twinax devices, I belive the addressing goes up to 6, so you have 7 devices on a line,, 0 - 6. If you are getting new "green screen" terminals. I notice most connect via ethernet, and run some sort of built in client to establish communications. It really depends if the devices are new terminals, or older twinax only terminals.
