We are trying to install Windows NT on a Dell GX110 that has onboard graphics card plus additional card fitted in PCI slot.

Using Windows 98 or 2k we have no problems getting both graphic cards to work together. We have however an application that can't run using 2K, we need to run it on NT4 so that we can lock the PC down as our users have a tendancy to mess otherwise.

Has anyone ever overcome this problem using NT4 and if so how?

Any help appreciated

NT support for dual monitors depends on the display adapter manufacturer producing compatible cards and drivers. You'll have to check with the manufacturer for info. What is the card?

John

Card we're using is an Nvidia TNT2 M64

I don't actually think NT4 supports dual monitors... that was a 98/W2K and later "feature" of Windows. [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

You're right that NT doesn't natively support dual monitors, but some cards have drivers which add this capability.

John

Your right NT doesn't appear to support dual monitors. I have been looking at alternative cards which appears to be the way we're going to have to go.

Thanks to all of you who've responded

Check out Matrox. I'm using Mellenium G-200 with 3-21" monitor desktop on NT4 WS.
